ACP
Your skin will be prepared with a pre-treatment skin sanitiser, additionally, a topical anaesthetic cream is available for application upon the patients request, although it is typically not deemed necessary. A sterile, individually wrapped, specialised probed is then utilised to address the specific skin concern. The technique employed will vary depending on the condition to be treated, ensuring a targeted and tailored approach for optimal results.
Normally one treatment is enough to treat most conditions however some conditions can be quite resilient, and more than one treatment may be necessary. A course of ACP is often advised for telangiectasia (thread veins) so that treatments can be spaced out to prevent skin damage or hyper-pigmentation.
A patch test along with a signed consultation/consent form must be completed prior to treatment to ensure safety and suitability for the individual. A follow up appointment is required to assess the treatment's effectiveness, make any final tweaks, and ensure exceptional results. Some blemishes require a GP’s written consent prior to treatment. Treatment is suitable for most healthy individuals.

Post Treatment Advice
Redness, swelling, and sensitivity may be experienced in the treated area and surrounding skin for up to 48 hours, with potential hot sensations. Pin-point crusts or scabs will form to seal the skin to prevent infection, itching during this healing process is normal, don't be tempted to scratch or pick else this can cause scarring. Only use a gentle skin cleanser, moisturiser and Topical Medical Sunscreen. Avoid activities that stimulate blood flow and may disturb scabs for 48 hours post-vascular treatments, while refraining from swimming, saunas, and other potential irritants such as skin sensitising products until the skin condition is fully healed.
